

Leen Delang received the Dubois-Brigué prize for Tropical Pathology from the Belgian Royal Academy of Medicine on the 28th of October 2023 for her work on the development of new strategies to fight infections with mosquito-borne viruses.
The Dubois-Brigué prize is awarded once every three years and is intended to promote clinical and experimental research in tropical medicine. The prize is named after Albert Dubois, who was one of the inspirers of scientific tropical medicine and director of the Institute of Tropical Medicine from 1947 to 1958, and his wife Simone Brigué.
