The mosquito season has started, which means we have also started our mosquito trapping campaign.
On the 9th of June, we kicked off our mosquito collection campaign for the year 2021. During our mosquito collection campaign, we put BC sentinel traps on different locations in and around the city of Leuven. Some of our favorite trapping locations are the botanical garden and around the ponds of the Arenberg castle. This year, we also aim to collect mosquito larvae using a larval dipper.
