Our mosquitoes on Belgian news

Our PhD student Laure Remue working with Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in our insectary at the Rega Institute.

Yesterday, our colleagues Johan Neyts and Suzanne Kaptein of the Rega Institute of KU Leuven published their work on a very potent antiviral drug against dengue virus in Nature. For an interview by the Belgian television, some shots were made of the Aedes aegypti in our insectary. You can find the interview with Johan Neyts here: https://www.vrt.be/vrtnws/nl/2021/10/05/onderzoekers-van-ku-leuven-ontwikkelen-krachtig-geneesmiddel-teg/

Congratulations again to Suzanne, Johan and the rest of the team and all their collaborators for this important discovery!
